I hear all this talk about FE etc, but im confused on what it is still. Someone told me that if a nit raises, and the flop is a/k/q and hes betting you have a lot of FE because that flop smashes his range.

Then the other day a LAG guy raised and got called and the flop was j/q/k and lag bet, guy folded and after the lag said i have about no equity on that flop?

FE is fold equity, it is the odds we have of our opponent folding to a bet we make(we add this value to our actual equity as well). if a nit raises there is not much FE on that flop as it smashes his range.

My advice to you is stay away from the poker tables until you learn more of the fundamentals.
