lol, yesterday I was playing and it seemed not okay, then it seemed pretty fine and now I think it's wrong, idk what's going on in my mind, it's like that animation spinning in both directions lol.
Now I've played a few, a bit over 400 battles on it and have compaered the backwards driving with RA2, which I had set to RR old controls and they appear to be the same to DB...I don't know what to think because they feel a lot different.

That is utterly strange... I really don't remember RR being like that. Does it not defy the laws of physics?

the first thing i realised when playing mc RR3 was that they didnt use the traditional controls.

you could say it defies the laws of physics, but have you heard of counter steering? this is used when riding a motorcycle. it is impossible to turn at higher speeds on a motorcycle without counter steering

Motorcycles have 2 wheels, this should not be used with robots with 3+ wheels Razz jk I have no clue, I just know that I don't like it.

myself and X-term just had some battles, and in all of them, i couldnt turn left or right.
he couldnt turn either apart from 2 of them.

has anyone else experienced this?

our setups were dagger, dagger and magnetic mines

When you bump on each other and get pushed in the air, it happens quite alot.

Connecting failure. Happened to me when I played against -Max2. -Max was moving profectly but -Max2 was always glitching in the floor.

Ok, I've had a night to focus on some bugs.

So far I've fixed:
-Clamps grab from back but player latches onto front
-Batteries had incorrect pricing
-Accidentally was uploading chassis skin instead of tower skin
-Each bot now has a setting to decide whether it needs to reupload the skin, as apposed to one global setting across all bots which could result in skins not being re-uploaded.
-MicroBot no-longer explodes on activation
-Bots no-longer fly through air when colliding with deluxe motors.
-Clamps more reliable (except of course when attacking a melee weapon head-on)
-Bot-on-bot collision causes 1 damage

Any others?

Damage on collision could equal speed divided by 10

20 mph collision would equal 2 damage / 10 mph collision would equal 1 damage

what are the current factors to decide melee weapon damage? I assume it's just a singe value right? Then linking dmg to movement speed would be a pretty fun idea indeed. That would mean that you can't just smack into eachother and keep bumping from short range. But instead, you have to use the arena for more damage. It is also more realistic (since a small poke with a dagger wouldn't cause any significant dmg).
